Here are a selection of images taken during my most recent visit to New York in late December 2018 and early January 2019. The focus is on facades and architecture. The first two photographs combine decorative metalwork and reflections:

In the next photo I like the combination of lines – the diagonals and shadows of the wrought iron fire escapes with the zigzagging black graffiti on the bisected sign:
