Wooly-lashed mannequin in Brixton
This was one of a group of mannequins in a shop window in Brixton market; it was the lashes that made me settle on this one. I like the ambiguity of this image – it could be almost be a pastel or watercolour, or a faded picture of a 60s fashion model:
Lush green facades: reflections in Soho
I came across these reflected facades whilst walking in Soho yesterday. The effect reminded me a bit of batik – as if the buildings had exotic fabric projected onto them:

Graffiti and “chochmah”
I’m off to a gig in Mornington Crescent this evening. Saw this graffiti in Soho a few months ago … I’ve cropped it square so it could make an ‘alternative’ mother’s day cd album cover, rather than the usual pink florals and cuddly toy imagery! It’s a day late … well, better late than never.
